This bookplate was hand drawn in pencil on illustrators board and completed using Indian ink to define the fine detail.

Designed for my own use it features the herring drifter from my family’s Coat of Arms and the netted herring reflects the occupation of generations of my father’s ancestors. Where there are fishing boats there are seagulls, these were included to define the diamond shape of the design.
